We  have presented to you the scriptures that you may have a clear conception of who Jesus really is because there exist today beliefs about "another Jesus" that is different from the Jesus preached by the Apostles.

If what you believe in Jesus Christ is not in accordance with what is clearly written in the Holy Bible, then, you may have come to believe "another Jesus. As the snake fooled Eve, you may have been cleverly tricked or deceived to believe another Jesus ( 2 Cor. 11:3-4).

With a clever trick the snake fooled Eve. I'm afraid that your minds might be polluted, too. You might leave the simplicity and purity which is in Christ.  Someone might come preaching about another Jesus who is different from the Jesus we preached to you. You welcome a different kind of spirit that you did not receive . How can you put up so easily with a gospel that is different from the first one you accepted? (2 Corinthians 11:3-4, IE-NT)

You may have listened to false teachings which may have subtly and stealthily introduced, these are heretical doctrines or teachings that are contrary to what Jesus taught and written about by the His Apostles and disciples.

BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. (2 Peter 2:1-2, AMP)

Knowing the simple and pure belief in the "true Jesus" is indeed of utmost importance in the attainment of salvation and eternal life.  We should come to believe like the Apostles and by having the knowledge of the truth about the Son of God, we can no longer be misled into believing what is false.  As what Apostle Paul also said:

13. until finally we all believe alike about our salvation and about our Savior, God's Son, and all become full-grown in the Lord--yes, to the point of being filled full with Christ.
14. Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different, or has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. (Eph. 4:13-14 Living Bible)

Let us firmly believe the testimonies of the Apostles about the "true Jesus" that will lead us to salvation and eternal life. Do not let strange teachings, man-made teachings that are not written in the Bible, lead us to the wrong way―that is to eternal punishment in the lake of fire.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not let all kinds of strange teachings lead you into the wrong way. . . . . .  (Hebrews 13:8-9, NCV)

Based on the scriptural study we have just completed, let us clarify the belief about the True Jesus Christ that it may become clear and meaningful to us.

Clarifying
The Simple And Pure Belief In The True Christ Jesus,

according to the testimonies of Christ's Apostles and disciples
that are clearly written in the Holy Bible.

Whenever we say
"JESUS"
we mean
"Jesus the Christ, the Son of God."
(Lesson-3G)
The Apostles testified in their writings that, "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God" (Jn.20:31)
Apostle Peter said this to Jesus, "You are the Christ the Son of the living God." (Mt.16:16)
As Jesus Himself said to the people, "I am the Son of God."  (Jn. 10:36)
As John the Baptist have seen and testified that "this is the Son of God." (Jn. 1:34)
As God's voice coming out of the clouds saying, "This is my beloved Son." (Mt 17:5; Mt.17:5)
As the angel told Mary, "He will be called the "Son of God." (Luke 1:35)
As Apostle Paul proclaimed, that "Jesus is the Son of God." (Acts 9:20)

Whenever we say
"Jesus Christ, the Son of God"
we do not mean that Jesus is
"God the Son" nor "God Incarnate or God-Man"  (Lesson-3B)(Lesson-3C)

The exact phrase or title "God the Son" is not used in the Old and New Testament of the Holy Bible. The title is associated more with the development of the doctrine of the Trinity after the New Testament books are already completed and all the apostles have died (Lesson-2F). Trinitarians explain that Jesus is "God the Son" through the doctrine of the incarnation, and "God-Man" through the doctrine Hypostatic Union "or the "Two-Nature Doctrine". The most widely-accepted definitions of the Incarnation and the nature of Jesus were made by the early Catholic Church at the First Council of Nicaea in 325, the Council of Ephesus in 431, and the Council of Chalcedon in 451.
But we certainly mean that
Jesus is a Man in nature and state of being."
(Lesson-3H)
Because Jesus Himself said that He is a man telling the truth He heard from God . . (Jn.8:40)
A Man attested or affirmed by God by miracles, wonders and signs . . . (Acts 2:14 &22)
The Man Christ Jesus is the only one mediator between God and men. . . (1 Timothy 2:5)

A Man appointed by God to judge the world for Him . . . (Acts 17:31)

Whenever we say
"Jesus is a Man"
we mean that
Jesus is a Man yesterday, today, and forever (Lesson-3I)
A man as prophesied by Prophet Isaiah (Isaiah 53:3)
A Child conceived in Mary who brought forth a Son and named Jesus ((Luke 1:30-31}
As child Jesus grew increasing in wisdom and the grace of God was upon Him (Luke 2:40)
Jesus Himself declared that "He is a Man telling the truth He heard from God" (Jn.8:40)
Jesus died as a Man, He breath his last (Luke 23:46), and gave up His spirit (John 19:30).
Jesus was raised from the dead by God (Acts 4:10), still a Man with flesh and bones (Luke 24:39)
Jesus is a Man who sits at the right hand of God in heaven (Heb.10:12), with a glorious body (Phil.3:21)
Jesus will return on the Day of Judgment as a Man chosen by God to do the judging for Him (Acts 17:31)
When the end comes, the Man Christ Jesus will turn over the kingdom to God the Father, that God maybe all in all. (1Cor.15:21-28).
we also mean that
Jesus Is Not An Ordinary Man But A Very Special Man (Lesson-3J)
Jesus "committed no sin", and no deceit was found in his mouth. (1 Peter 2:22)
God has made Jesus who was crucified both Lord and Christ (Acts 2:36)
God exalted Jesus and gave Him the name above every name, so that at the name of Jesus everyone should worship and confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Phil.2:9-11)
God exalted Jesus as Leader and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins. (Acts 5:31,
The Man Christ Jesus is the only one Mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2:3-5)

As a Very Special Man
we mean that
Jesus Is Subordinate Or Not Equal To God The Father (Lesson-K)
For it is not Jesus Himself but God who did miracles, wonders and signs through Him ( Acts 2:22)
Jesus pleaded with God, praying with tears to the only one who could save Him from death, (Heb.5:7)
Jesus said that "My Father is greater than I" (Jn.14:28), because the Father is His God (Jn. 20:17)
Jesus said "a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him" (Jn.13:16),  because Jesus is the servant of God (Acts 3:13) and He was also sent by the God (Jn.17:3)
In the end, Jesus will deliver the kingdom to God the Father (1Cor.15:24); then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all (1Cor.15:28)

we also mean that

Jesus Is distinct, a separate being, from God,
thus Jesus is not God Himself
(Lesson-L)
God has no beginning but Jesus came from God (Ps.90:2, Jn.8:42)
God is immortal (not subject to death), but Jesus died on the cross (1Tim.1:17, Jn.19:33)
God is spirit but Jesus is man having flesh and bones (Jn.4:24, Lk. 24:39, Jn.8:40)
God neither grows tired nor weary, but Jesus wearied or grew tired (Isaiah 40:28, Jn.4:6)
God knows no other god, but Jesus recognizes the Father as His God (Isa. 44:8, Jn.20:17)
God is above all―subject to no one, but Jesus is subject to God (Eph.4:6,1 Cor. 15:28)

____________

The Simple And Pure Belief In The True

CHRIST JESUS

is summarized as follows:

Whenever we say

"JESUS CHRIST"
we simply mean
Jesus the Christ, the "Son of God".
(Not "God the Son", nor "God incarnate or God-man")
As the "Son of God" Jesus is a Man in nature and state of being.
He is a Man yesterday, today and forever.
However, Jesus is not an ordinary man, but a "Very Special Man",
(A Man who was made Lord, Savior and Mediator by God
and the Man chosen by God to judge the world for Him on the Day of Judgment)

The Man Jesus Is Subordinate Or Not Equal To "God, the Father".
Jesus is distinct, a separate being, from God, thus Jesus is not God Himself.
